TradeBo uses prepaid credits instead of a subscription. You buy credits once and the engine uses them only while it is checking your positions.
How credits work
One credit is one position with a strategy, checked once. The Broker Agent syncs on the schedule you set, and each sync checks every assigned position whose market is open at that moment — a stock outside trading hours costs nothing. So what you spend depends on how many positions you assign and how often your agent syncs.
What 10 stock positions use
The same 10 positions, under three ways of setting up the Broker Agent. The first is how the agent is set when you install it.

Checking less often costs less and reacts more slowly to a price move. Which is right depends on how fast the things you hold move.
Is there a monthly fee?
No. There is no subscription and nothing renews on its own. You buy a bundle of credits when you want one. Auto-refill is optional: if you turn it on, it buys the bundle you chose when your balance falls to the level you set, and you can turn it off at any time.
When are credits not used?
Whenever the engine is not checking a position: while that position's market is closed, while the Broker Agent is not running or its Trading switch is off, and for every position that has no strategy assigned. Backtests do not use credits.
Do credits expire?
No. Credits stay in your balance until the engine uses them.
What happens when I run out?
The engine stops checking your positions and places no new orders until you top up; then it carries on. Your holdings stay as they are. You are emailed when the balance reaches zero, and can ask for a warning before it gets there.
Can I get a refund?
If you delete your account, the purchased credits you have not used are refunded at the base price per credit, up to the amount you paid. Free credits, such as promotional ones, have no cash value.
